Fun and relaxation for friends and family under the bright, blue Shonan sky.
Tsujidou-Kaihin-Prefectural-Park (Tsujido-Seaside-Park) truly embodies the best of what the Shonan area has to offer. The Japanese word “kaihin” means “seaside,” and as the name suggests, the park is located next to one of the most famous and popular stretches of beach in all of Japan, majestic Sagami Bay, Kanagawa.
During the summer, the park becomes a premier location for fun in the sun as families and friends come to ride the waterslides and escape the heat in the Jumbo-Pool. Throughout the summer, people from every corner of Japan and from all walks of life visit the park and the neighboring beach to enjoy the gift of a Shonan Summer in a variety of ways.
In other seasons, many people visit the park for its extensive grass field where children (and adults!) are free to run and play. There is also the open-air Transportation Park, the Transportation Exhibition Hall, and much more.
Throughout the year, many events are held in the park, including seasonal festivals, the Universal Canoe attraction, flea markets, and various sporting and music events.
The smooth and gentle paths and the clear visibility make the park an ideal spot for joggers, and visitors with strollers or wheelchairs. Moreover, the park is lush with beautiful flowers and greenery, planted and maintained by a committed staff of volunteers, making it perfect for a quiet stroll.
We hope you will visit us and experience for yourself the four seasons of Tsujidou-Kaihin-Prefectural-Park (Tsujido-Seaside-Park).
